I think that the media gives more credit than what Messi deserves… Messi is not the one who puts the team on his shoulders,he is not the one that moves the team…..I’m not saying he is not good, I am saying look at SPAIN and look at Argentina… Messi can be substituted while covering Xavi’s absense is too hard..

Messi would only score about 25 goals a season w/o Xavi. Yes, Xavi is not a great goal scorer but if 100 is a perfect player, then he is 99. Everything you want in a midfielder is Xavi. In my time, there are only three midfielders that have exceptional vision, intelligence, and technique. Zidane, Figo, and Xavi are truely one of kind. They never fail to lead their teams to victory. They are legends. I hope to see Xavi play for many more years because like Zidane and Figo, i will be truely sadden when Xavi retires.
